Supply Chain Officer

Job Description / Responsibility

We are a leading importer of stone aggregates. We are seeking three (3) dedicated Supply Chain professionals to manage our site operations. The role focuses on the efficient unloading of cargo from lighter vessels at the jetty, management of the dumping yard, and transportation to the final destination

Key Responsibilities:

  • Jetty & Unloading Management. Oversee the complete unloading process from small lighter vessels to the specific ghat/jetty.
  • Ensure rapid turnaround to maximize efficiency.
  • 24/7 Operational Oversight. Perform duties in both day and night shifts to maintain the continuous flow of delivery.
  • Inventory & Accountability.
  • Maintain strict control over stock.
  • Supervise weight scales, verify all Challans. and reconcile unloaded quantities against final delivery.
  • Fleet & Labor Management: Manage material handlers, laborers, and transport vehicles to ensure smooth dispatch without bottlenecks.
  • Reporting Generate accurate daily reports on cargo flow, stock status, and discrepancies.

Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Supply Chain Management
  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Supply Chain Management
  • BBA & MBA with a major in Supply Chain Management is mandatory.

Additional Requirements

  • Experience & Skills:
    Previous experience in site logistics, jetty operations, or bulk cargo handling will be given high preference.
  • Communication:
    Excellent communication skills are required to coordinate effectively between laborers. transporters, and management.
  • Advanced Knowledge.
  • Must have a solid understanding of supply chain flows, inventory reconciliation. and material handling logic.
