Job Summary
EximpCore is a leading importer of raw materials, supporting the operations of manufacturing industries. We are seeking a proactive Supply Chain Intern who is eager to gain hands-on experience in procurement, logistics, and inventory management. This role offers a unique opportunity to engage in the full supply chain cycle—from sourcing materials to ensuring timely deliveries. The intern will collaborate with suppliers, logistics partners, and internal teams, with occasional visits to client offices and warehouses.
Key Responsibilities
Email Correspondence: Draft and manage professional communication with current and potential suppliers, initiate contact, request quotations, follow up on shipments, and resolve issues efficiently.
Procurement Support: Assist in sourcing raw materials, evaluating supplier proposals, and ensuring cost-effective procurement.
Logistics Coordination: Work with logistics partners to monitor shipments, track deliveries, and resolve transportation issues.
Inventory Management: Maintain accurate stock records, analyze inventory levels, and support demand planning.
Supplier Relations: Communicate with suppliers to ensure timely order fulfillment and address discrepancies.
Market Research: Conduct research on pricing trends, supply chain best practices, and new sourcing opportunities.
Reporting & Documentation: Maintain organized records of shipments, procurement activities, and supplier contracts.
Required Qualifications
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an interest in procurement and logistics.
Proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office (Google Docs, Google Sheets, etc.).
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Active internet connection and Laptop/PC.
Ability to work independently and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
