Supply Chain- Senior Executive

Key Points

The Senior Executive - Supply Chain will support end-to-end procurement and supply chain operations for real estate and infrastructure projects, including government works.

Job Description / Responsibility

Procurement & Material Sourcing

  • Execute procurement of civil, finishing, and MEP-related construction materials as per approved BOQ, drawings, and project schedules.
  • Collect quotations, prepare comparative statements (CS), and assist in issuing purchase orders (PO) and work orders (WO).
  • Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery and quality compliance.

Vendor & Documentation Management

  • Maintain vendor database, price records, rate analysis, and material specifications.
  • Support vendor evaluation and performance monitoring.
  • Ensure proper documentation related to VAT, AIT, challans, delivery notes, and compliance records.

Inventory, Store & Logistics Coordination

  • Coordinate with storekeepers and site engineers for material receiving, issuing, and stock reconciliation.
  • Monitor inventory levels to avoid shortages, overstocking, and material wastage.
  • Assist in logistics planning, transportation coordination, and site-wise material tracking.

Cost Control & Reporting

  • Track procurement costs and material consumption against budget and estimates.
  • Prepare regular reports on procurement status, inventory position, and supplier performance.
  • Support internal and external audits related to supply chain activities.

Coordination & Process Support

  • Liaise with project management, engineering, accounts, and site teams for smooth material flow.
  • Support ERP-based or manual procurement and inventory systems.
  • Follow company procurement policies and ethical standards.

Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Supply Chain Management

Experience Requirements

  • At least 2 year(s)
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
  • Manufacturing (FMCG),Trading or Export/Import,Shipping,Real Estate,Group of Companies,Plastic/ Polymer Industry,Cement Industry,Developer

Additional Requirements

  • Professional training or certification in Supply Chain / Procurement will be an added advantage.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in supply chain/procurement within real estate, construction, or infrastructure projects.
  • Practical knowledge of construction materials and Bangladesh sourcing market.
  • Knowledge of construction materials, BOQ, and procurement processes·
  • Strong communication and coordination skills·
  • Strong communications and familiarity with Contractors and Suppliers.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Office, and basic ERP systems·
  • Ability to prepare comparative statements and procurement documentation·
  • Good command of Bangla and English·
  • Honest, disciplined, and compliance-oriented mindset
