Role Description

The Category Manager (Skin Care Brand, Makeup, Baby Care & Others) will be responsible for managing the entire skincare product category — including product selection, pricing, promotion, and performance. This role requires a deep understanding of the skincare market, strong analytical ability, and collaboration with marketing, procurement, and operations teams to achieve sales and profit goals.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.

2–5 years of experience in e-commerce or FMCG (preferably in the beauty/skincare industry).

Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.

Proficiency in MS Excel, Google Sheets, and sales reporting tools.

Passion for skincare and understanding of beauty trends.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Product Strategy & Planning

Develop category growth strategies aligned with company objectives.

Research and identify new skincare trends and product opportunities.

Maintain a balanced product mix across all skin types and categories.

2. Brand & Supplier Management

Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and brands.

Negotiate pricing, discounts, and promotional offers.

Ensure timely product delivery and stock availability.

3. Pricing & Promotion

Set and monitor category pricing to maintain profitability.

Plan and execute promotional campaigns with the marketing team.

Analyze campaign results and recommend improvements.

4. Sales Performance & Reporting

Track category performance through sales data and KPIs.

Analyze product performance and customer feedback.

Provide regular reports and actionable insights to management.

5. Cross-Department Collaboration

Work closely with marketing, digital, and operations teams.

Support new product launches and seasonal campaigns.

Ensure customer satisfaction through quality product offerings.
