Role Purpose :

To govern, manage, and ensure effective performance of Tower Companies (TowerCo) who provide passive infrastructure to the operator. The role involves end-to-end coordination, performance monitoring, SLA compliance, issue escalation, and vendor management to ensure uninterrupted network availability and cost optimization.

Job Description:

Governance & Vendor Management :

  1. Act as the single point of contact between the operator and TowerCo.
  2. Ensure TowerCo delivers as per agreed SLAs (uptime, response time, rectification time, energy KPIs, etc.).
  3. Conduct regular governance meetings, reviews, and audits with TowerCo.

Operational Management :

  1. Monitor site availability, power utilization, fuel efficiency, and energy cost optimization.
  2. Ensure timely restoration of outages and follow-up on chronic/repeat faults.
  3. Track preventive and corrective maintenance activities conducted by TowerCo.

Performance & SLA Monitoring :

  1. Prepare and analyze TowerCo performance reports (site uptime, MTTR, alarms, fuel pilferage, etc.).
  2. Highlight gaps and drive TowerCo to meet/exceed KPIs and contractual commitments.
  3. Escalate chronic or high-impact issues to management for resolution.(reepat outage sites)

Compliance & Governance Reporting (HSSE) :

  1. Ensure safety, regulatory, and compliance requirements are adhered to by TowerCo.

Key Skills & Competencies :

  1. Very good knowledge of Excel and data management , moderate knowledge of Power point presentations
  2. Strong knowledge of telecom passive infrastructure (towers, DG, battery banks, power, shelter, etc.).
  3. Understanding of SLAs/KPIs in TowerCo contracts.
  4. Provide MIS and governance dashboards to senior management.
  5. Vendor governance skills.
  6. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  7. Problem-solving with ability to handle escalations and high-pressure situations.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Information technology, EEE, ECE, or Computer Science.

  2. 3-8 years of experience in working with Telecommunication Operations.
