Department: Employee Engagement and Communication
Location: Dhaka, Bangladesh
Description of Functions:
Gender Equality and Disability Inclusion:
- Develop and implement strategies to promote gender equality and disability inclusion within our organization.
- Conduct research and stay updated on current best practices and trends in gender equality and disability inclusion.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and develop actionable plans.
- Facilitate training sessions and workshops to educate employees on gender equality, disability inclusion, and related topics.
Communication Material Development:
- Prepare clear and thorough briefs, outlining project requirements, target audience, messaging, desired outcomes, and project timelines for the agency. Create compelling and informative communication materials, including written content, presentations, infographics, and videos, to promote gender equality and disability inclusion.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information, stories, and data to be incorporated into communication materials.
- Develop engaging and accessible content for various platforms, such as websites, social media, newsletters, and internal communications.
- Ensure all communication materials adhere to inclusive language and accessibility guidelines.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of communication materials and make necessary adjustments to improve impact.
Event Planning (If needed):
- Brainstorm and generate unique decoration concepts that align with event themes, objectives, and target audiences.
- Support the implementation of decoration plans by providing guidance and oversight during the setup and installation phases
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including employees, and community organizations to foster collaboration and partnership in promoting gender equality and disability inclusion.
- Participate in relevant networks and forums to stay connected with other professionals working in the field.
- Participation and ideation sharing for completing the decoration part in the internal and external events
Requirements:
- Master with Minimum 2–4 years of relevant experience in employee engagement, internal communication, or HR coordination roles. Prior experience in an NGO, development organization, or large corporate environment will be an advantage.
- Proven track record of organizing employee events, surveys, and internal campaigns.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and Bangla. Excellent interpersonal and presentation abilities. Experience with internal communication tools (e.g., newsletters, HR portals, intranet, social media, etc.). Creative mindset for designing employee engagement initiatives and campaigns.
