What You'll Work On

  • Build, customize, and maintain WordPress sites (themes & plugins) for marketing and e-commerce.

  • Convert Figma/Designs to responsive pages using Gutenberg/Block Editor or Elementor.

  • Create custom post types, taxonomies, and ACF-driven content models.

  • Optimize performance (Core Web Vitals, caching, image/CDN) and harden security.

  • Configure WooCommerce and payment/shipping plugins when needed.

  • Integrate third-party services via REST APIs and webhooks.

  • Manage staging → production deployments and version control best practices.

  • Collaborate in Agile sprints: daily stand-ups, planning, and code reviews.

Must-Have Skills

  • WordPress Core: Themes, child themes, hooks/actions/filters, template hierarchy.

  • PHP & MySQL: Solid fundamentals for customizations and queries.

  • Front-end: HTML5, CSS3 (Flexbox/Grid), basic JavaScript (ES6); responsive & accessible UI.

  • Page Builders/Blocks: Gutenberg (preferred) and/or Elementor proficiency.

  • WooCommerce: Setup, customization, and troubleshooting basics.

  • Version Control: Git fluency; branch-based workflows.

  • Performance & Security: Caching, minification, database cleanup, hardening, backups.

  • Tools: WP-CLI, Composer basics, package managers (npm/yarn).

  • Collaboration: Clear communication in Bengali & English; strong ownership mindset.

  • Experience: No formal experience required—freshers are encouraged. Strong work ethics are a must.

Nice-to-Have (Bonus)

  • Headless WP (WP as CMS) with or Vue.

  • ACF Pro, CPT UI, Yoast, Rank Math, and advanced SEO structuring.

  • CI/CD familiarity (GitHub Actions), Docker basics.

  • Cloud/Infra exposure (Vercel, Netlify, or VPS; Cloudflare/CDN).

  • Basic QA/testing habits and documentation discipline.

Probation & Employment

  • Probation: 2-month probationary period.

  • Review: Performance, code quality, and culture fit reviewed at the end of probation.

  • Confirmation: Upon successful completion, you'll be confirmed as a full-time team member with growth opportunities. (Compensation adjustments and benefits eligibility will be finalized at confirmation.)
