Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and creative
WordPress Website Developer
to join our team on a
project-based contract
. The ideal candidate should have proven experience in building
responsive, SEO-friendly, and high-performance WordPress websites
from concept to deployment. You will work closely with our design and content teams to bring websites to life that align with our branding and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain dynamic WordPress websites (using Elementor, WPBakery, or custom theme development).
  • Customize existing WordPress themes and plugins as per project needs.
  • Optimize websites for maximum speed, SEO, and responsiveness across devices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve website issues (security, bugs, plugin conflicts, etc.).
  • Perform regular website updates, backups, and performance improvements.
  • Collaborate with internal team for content upload, UI/UX alignment, and functionality feedback.
  • Deliver clean, efficient, and well-documented code within the agreed project timelines.

Requirements

  • Proven experience (3+ years preferred) as a WordPress Developer and Frontend Web Developer.
  • Strong knowledge of PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and MySQL.
  • Experience with Elementor, WPBakery, or other visual page builders.
  • Familiarity with SEO principles, Google Analytics, and Search Console.
  • Ability to integrate plugins, themes, and APIs efficiently.
  • Understanding of website security, performance optimization, and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Knowledge of cPanel, domain/DNS setup, and hosting environments.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to meeting deadlines.
  • Portfolio or sample of previous WordPress projects is required.
