Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Specialist

to join our dynamic
Digital Marketing

department. The ideal candidates will have a deep understanding of search engine optimization strategies, analytics tools, audit and content marketing. You will be responsible for enhancing our online presence and driving organic traffic to our website.

Job Title: Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Specialist (Senior Executive)

Salary: Up to 45,000 BDT

Employment Status: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

  • Keyword Research

: Conduct extensive keyword research to identify target keywords and optimize website content accordingly.
- On-Page SEO

: Optimize website elements, including meta tags, headers, and content, to improve search engine rankings.
- Technical SEO

: Identify and resolve technical issues affecting website performance, including site speed, crawl errors, and mobile responsiveness.
- Content Strategy

: Collaborate with content creators to develop and implement SEO-friendly content strategies that align with business goals.
- Link Building

: Develop and execute link-building strategies to improve domain authority and organic search visibility.
- SEO Audits

: Perform regular SEO audits to assess website performance and recommend improvements.
- Analytics & Reporting

: Monitor and analyze website performance using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other SEO tools. Prepare reports on traffic, rankings, and conversions.
- Stay Updated

: Keep up-to-date with the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and industry changes to adapt strategies as needed.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration

: Work closely with the marketing, web development, and design teams to ensure SEO best practices are integrated into all digital marketing efforts.

Experience Requirements

  • Proven
    2+

years of project handling experience as an SEO Specialist or in a similar role.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Basic knowledge of paid advertising strategies (PPC) is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog).
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and website development principles is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics, Google Ads, and other digital marketing tools.
  • Experience in project management

and working with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello, Jira, Clickup)
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with eCommerce SEO.
  • Client management experience, including managing SEO projects for various clients.
  • Familiarity with social media marketing and content marketing principles.
