Job Description

We are seeking an experienced
Oracle Forms Programmer
with a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in developing, maintaining, and enhancing Oracle Forms-based business applications. The ideal candidate must be proficient in Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, PL/SQL, and database design concepts. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design user-centric solutions, troubleshoot system issues, and support ongoing application enhancements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, enhance, and maintain applications using
    Oracle Forms & Reports
    .
  • Write efficient and optimized
    PL/SQL procedures, functions, packages, and triggers
    .
  • Collaborate with business analysts and end-users to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Perform application debugging, performance tuning, and troubleshooting of Oracle-based systems.
  • Design and manage database objects such as tables, views, sequences, indexes, and constraints.
  • Participate in application deployment, testing cycles, and documentation preparation.
  • Ensure system reliability, data accuracy, and application security.
  • Work with the support team to resolve production issues promptly.
  • Contribute to process and system improvements with technical recommendations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in
    Computer Science, Information Technology
    , or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience
    as an Oracle Forms Developer / Programmer.
  • Strong expertise in:
  • Oracle Forms 10g/11g/12c
  • Oracle Reports
  • PL/SQL programming
  • Solid understanding of
    Oracle Database architecture
    and SQL performance tuning.
  • Experience with full software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Ability to analyze complex business problems and develop appropriate solutions.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of
    REST/SOAP API integration
    with Oracle systems.
  • Exposure to ERP modules or large-scale enterprise applications.
  • Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) certification is an added advantage.
