Assistant Manager

Position Overview
We are seeking a results-driven Assistant Manager, Process Excellence to support continuous improvement initiatives across the manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical ability, a practical understanding of IE/lean tools, and proven on-floor execution capability.
Educational Requirements
- BSc in Industrial & Production Engineering (IPE), Mechanical Engineering, or Textile Engineering from a reputed institution.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct process studies, identify bottlenecks, and recommend improvement initiatives.
- Execute lean manufacturing tools including waste reduction, and process optimization.
- Lead problem-solving sessions using 5 Why, Cause–Effect Analys

, and other structured methodologies. - Analyze performance data to generate actionable insights for improving productivity and efficiency.
- Collaborate with production teams to ensure smooth implementation of improvement projects.
- Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations for management review.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Solid understanding of lean tools, and problem-solving methods.
- Strong command of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and data analysis techniques.
- Excellent communication skills with proactive, hands-on execution capability on the production floor.
Preferred Skills (Added Advantage)
- Experience in process audits, skill development planning, or workflow optimization.
- Familiarity with digital tracking systems (QR Code / RFID).
- Basic knowledge of Power Query and Power BI for analytical reporting.
