Responsibilities & Context

The Junior Executive, IT, plays a supporting role in the company's digital infrastructure and systems management. This position is designed to provide assistance in the smooth operation of ERP software, ensure basic networking support, maintain the company website, and perform periodic data entry tasks. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of IT systems and a willingness to learn and grow under supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

ERP Software Management:

  • Assist in the day-to-day operation and maintenance of the ERP system.
  • Support users with troubleshooting and resolving minor ERP-related issues.
  • Coordinate with vendors or senior staff for escalated ERP concerns.
  • Assist in user training and documentation related to ERP processes.

Networking Support:

  • Perform basic network troubleshooting (e.g., connectivity issues, printer sharing, LAN/Wi-Fi support).
  • Support the maintenance of networking equipment (routers, switches, firewalls, etc.).
  • Help in monitoring network performance and uptime.

Website Management:

  • Assist in updating content on the company website (text, images, files, etc.).
  • Coordinate with developers or agencies for technical issues or enhancements.
  • Ensure website availability and monitor for performance or security alerts.

Data Entry & Documentation:

  • Enter relevant data into the ERP system and maintain accurate records.
  • Assist departments with data input and basic reporting.
  • Maintain documentation related to IT activities, support requests, and system logs.

General IT Support:

  • Provide basic technical support to staff for hardware and software issues.
  • Participate in IT inventory management and maintenance activities.
  • Assist in implementing IT policies and procedures.
