VisionSpring, a US-based social enterprise, is seeking a dynamic
Regional
Manager and Field Coach
to play a pivotal role in expanding access to reading glasses through our Reading Glasses for Improved Livelihoods (RGIL) program. Selected candidates will be trained by a globally renowned sales and training organization and certified as Master Trainers, gaining world-class expertise in sales, mobilization, and coaching.

Additionally, this role will support the implementation of demand generation activities and monitor program performance, including sales targets and management training for partner teams. The person will be based in different regions of Bangladesh. This is a full-time, contract-based position for a duration of twenty (20) months.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from a reputable university in Bangladesh.
  • Minimum of 10 years of professional experience, must have training and coaching experience for a minimum of 5 years or more.
  • Number driven. Always check sales figures to know if they are on or off target. Uses data to support performance monitoring and data-driven decision-making.
  • Experience in planning, documentation, reporting, knowledge management, and framework development to ensure alignment, learning, and consistent execution.
  • Ability to conduct operational risk assessments and implement effective mitigation strategies to ensure program continuity and resilience.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, willing to try new things. Open minded. Looking for ways to deepen market penetration.
  • Motivated by large scale work, and the opportunity to materially impact the market for a pro-poor product.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Bangla.

Job Responsibilities

As Regional Manager and Field Coach, you will be responsible for cascading training to field teams and providing hands-on coaching and mentoring to the Area Managers and Field Staff called as Near Vison Specialist. This role is central to VisionSpring's strategy of integrating evidence-based demand generation into the expanded RGIL program. 

You will be involved in:

  • Deliver training and certification programs to equip hundreds of Near Vision Specialists (NVSs) with the mobilization and selling skills to effectively deliver vision screenings and sales reading glasses.
  • Coach and mentor Area Managers and field staff to strengthen sales, mobilization, and customer engagement capabilities.
  • Identify knowledge, attitude, and practice (KAP) gaps and design tailored capacity-building plans with guidance from expert consultants.
  • Monitor performance and track progress against sales targets, ensuring accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Introduce and reinforce proven sales and mobilization practices across partner organizations, including BRAC and Sajida Foundation.
  • Support demand generation activities by equipping field teams with practical tools, persuasive messaging, and community engagement strategies.
  • Facilitate supportive supervision visits to ensure consistent application of training content in the field.
  • Document learnings and success stories to inform program scaling and donor reporting.
  • Collaborate with VisionSpring's program and partner leadership to align training and coaching efforts with organizational goals.
