Country Manager - Bangladesh

Our Client
is a leading FMCG company in Bangladesh, committed to delivering high-quality products to consumers. We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Country Manager (Business Manager) to lead our operations and drive strategic growth in the Bangladesh market.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic business plans to achieve sales, profit, and market share targets. (Must have a thourough understanding on MRP calculations and import duty calculations).
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales and distribution team to ensure high performance and efficiency with the help of local business partner/s.
  • Conduct thorough market research and competitor analysis to identify new business opportunities and stay ahead of market trends.
  • Manage key client and distributor relationships to strengthen the distribution network and secure long-term partnerships at national level and regional level.
  • Monitor sales performance, analyze data, and provide regular reports to senior management with actionable insights.
  • Oversee budget management for the business unit, ensuring cost-effectiveness and optimal resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with marketing, supply chain, and finance teams to ensure seamless execution of business strategies.
  • Ensure all business activities and operations comply with company policies and legal regulations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA is a plus.
  • 05 years of proven experience in a similar managerial role within the FMCG sector.
  • Deep understanding of the FMCG market in Dhaka and across Bangladesh.
  • Excellent leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
