Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines, deployment scripts, and automation workflows.
  • Manage and scale AWS and on-prem/cloud infrastructure; deploy complex applications.
  • Architect and maintain Docker and advanced Kubernetes environments (pods, StatefulSets, Ingress, Helm, multi-cluster).
  • Implement GitOps practices with ArgoCD or similar tools.
  • Monitor and optimize performance using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Elastic APM.
  • Lead on-call support, incident resolution, post-incident analysis, and preventive measures.
  • Perform advanced Linux administration, shell scripting, and network troubleshooting.
  • Implement security best practices, IAM policies, secrets management, and compliance.
  • Maintain uptime, optimize performance, and document processes and SOPs.
  • Mentor junior and mid-level engineers, collaborate with Dev/QA teams, and improve workflows.
  • Lead Infrastructure as Code (IaC) initiatives with Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools.
  • Conduct capacity planning, disaster recovery, scalability, and cost optimization.

Required Knowledge:

  • Expert Linux administration, networking, security, and performance tuning.
  • Git, GitOps, and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, ArgoCD).
  • Docker & Kubernetes (advanced operations, Helm, namespaces, operators).
  • Cloud (AWS, Local Cloud), networking, load balancing, and multi-region deployment.
  • Monitoring, logging, and APM (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Elastic APM).
  • Shell scripting and programming (Bash, Python, Go).
  • Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation) and automation.
  • Disaster recovery, high availability, cost optimization, and resource management.
  • Mentorship, team leadership, documentation, and evaluation of new tools.

Experience:

3–5 years in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, or related roles.
