Job Title: Cashier cum Outlet In-Charge

Department: Sales & Operations

Location: Gulshan 2

Position Overview:

The Cashier cum Outlet In-Charge is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the outlet, including cash handling, sales transactions, inventory management, and staff supervision. This role ensures smooth outlet performance, excellent customer service, and adherence to company policies and financial accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Cashiering & Financial Transactions

  • Handle all cash, card, and digital payments accurately.
  • Maintain daily sales records and prepare cash reconciliation statements.
  • Deposit daily sales collection to the designated account as per company procedure.
  • Maintain petty cash book and support documentation for expenses.

2. Outlet Operations Management

  • Supervise daily operations ensuring cleanliness, discipline, and service standards.
  • Monitor stock levels, prepare requisitions, and coordinate with the supply team.
  • Ensure proper display and arrangement of products for sales.
  • Maintain compliance with safety, hygiene, and operational policies.

3. Sales & Customer Service

  • Provide excellent customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Achieve daily and monthly sales targets set by management.
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and resolve issues professionally.

4. Staff Supervision

  • Supervise outlet staff (sales assistants, cleaners, etc.) and manage duty rosters.
  • Train team members on sales techniques, product knowledge, and service standards.
  • Ensure discipline, punctuality, and professional behavior of all staff.

5. Reporting & Administration

  • Submit daily sales, stock, and expense reports to head office.
  • Track outlet performance and suggest improvements to management.
  • Maintain records of employee attendance and performance.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, or related field.
  • Minimum 2–4 years of experience in cashiering and outlet supervision.
  • Strong knowledge of POS systems, billing, and accounting procedures.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and customer service skills.
  • Strong numerical and organizational abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and sales reporting tools.
