Dhaka, Bangladesh (with responsibility across Bangladesh, China, and India factories)

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced
Product Tech / QC professional
with a strong background in garment sewing, pattern making, and quality assurance. The role requires close collaboration with factories across Bangladesh, China, and India to ensure buyer requirements are accurately interpreted, implemented, and delivered as per global quality standards.

The ideal candidate will act as the bridge between buyers, internal teams, and factories — ensuring that fit, construction, and quality meet expectations from
design sample through to red seal
.

Key Responsibilities

Fit & Pattern Review

  • Conduct garment fit sessions with factories by fitting samples on dummies.
  • Review samples against buyer comments and ensure revisions are incorporated before submission.
  • Approve fits across all stages (design sample to red seal) for zonal factories.

Technical Expertise & Collaboration

  • Interpret buyer comments (written and spoken English) and communicate requirements to factories.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and factories to ensure timely and accurate execution.
  • Provide technical guidelines to factories on garment construction, trims, finishing, and packing as per buyer standards.

Digital Pattern & Tools

  • Review and analyze digital patterns using tools like
    Optitex, Tucatech
    (or equivalent).
  • Validate incorporation of buyer comments in digital and physical samples.
  • Utilize MS Office tools for reporting, tracking, and documentation.

Quality Control & Inspections

  • Conduct in-line, mid-line, and final inspections to ensure adherence to QA checkpoints.
  • Troubleshoot fabric-related issues such as shrinkage, stretch, color deviations, and other behavior anomalies.
  • Ensure consistent product quality across Bangladesh, China, and India production units.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Strong knowledge of garment sewing, construction, and patterns.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting buyer comments.
  • Experience in conducting fit sessions and approving samples.
  • Familiarity with digital pattern-making software (
    Optitex / Tucatech
    ).
  • Knowledge of QA checkpoints and inspection methods in apparel manufacturing.
  • Ability to troubleshoot fabric behavior issues effectively.
  • Strong communication skills in English (written & spoken).
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Knowledge of Hindi will be an added advantage.

Preferred Background

  • 5–8 years of experience in apparel Product Tech / QC roles.
  • Hands-on experience in working with multiple factories across geographies.
  • Exposure to international buyer requirements and standards.
