The Communications Intern will support the Academy's Communications Department in day-to-day activities and gain hands-on experience in a wide range of communications functions. The internship is designed to provide learning opportunities in educational communications while fostering professional growth in a supportive environment.

This position is 
based in Dhaka, Bangladesh
.

Key learning and support areas include:

  • Assisting with content creation for social media, newsletters and the Academy website
  • Supporting communications coverage of events, including photography and basic design work
  • Learning how to draft, edit and proofread communication materials
  • Observing and contributing to cross-departmental communication efforts

The requirements

Education/Experience:

  • Current Bachelor's student or recent graduate in Communications, Journalism, Media Studies or a related field

Skills:

  • Good writing and editing skills in English (Bangla is an advantage)
  • Basic photography skills and an eye for visual storytelling
  • Familiarity with Canva or other basic design tools
  • Curiosity, creativity and a willingness to learn
  • Interest in education, development or non-profit communications
