Airline GSA, airline, or travel industry.

Job Description / Responsibility

To oversee the full spectrum of accounting and financial management of the Airline GSA operation, ensuring strict compliance with airline principals' requirements, local statutory laws, and international accounting standards, while maintaining strong financial control over revenue, BSP settlements, and cash flow.

  • Oversee BSP sales reconciliation, billing, and settlement with IATA/BSP.
  • Coordinate with airlines for revenue confirmation, debit/credit notes, and sales reports.
  • Ensure timely settlement of airline dues and avoidance of penalties.
  • Maintain accurate books of accounts in compliance with IFRS and company policies.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Ensure timely closing of accounts and submission of reports to management and airline principals.
  • Manage general ledger, fixed assets, accruals, and provisions.
  • Prepare annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
  • Monitor expenses against budget and implement cost-control measures.
  • Manage cash flow, bank accounts, and fund planning.
  • Ensure sufficient liquidity for BSP payments and operational needs.
  • Prepare and submit tax returns and related documents on time.
  • Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities.
  • Establish and maintain strong internal control systems.
  • Prepare for internal and external audits and address audit observations.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and airline principals' financial guidelines.

Educational Requirements

  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance
  • Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Accounting
  • Master's in Accounting / Finance / Cost Management
  • CA (CC), CMA, or ACCA will be highly preferred
  • Skills Required: Transport/ Airline/ Travel, Accounts and Finance, Cost and budget, GSA, Airline, Aviation or Hospitality
