Job Context:

Bir Hardware Manufacturing Ltd looking for
Manager - Finance & Accounts, Tax & VAT
is responsible for overseeing the financial health of the organization while ensuring efficient coordination of sales operations. The role involves managing accounting functions, budgeting, taxation, and financial reporting, along with handling sales administration tasks such as order processing, inventory management, and sales performance analysis. The individual will act as a bridge between the finance and sales teams to ensure seamless operations, compliance, and decision-making support.

Job Description:

  • Strategic Financial Management:
  • Assure that accounting records are prepared and maintained in accordance with the company`s accounting policies, chart of accounts and related accounting principles and practices.
  • Good Knowledge about financial management, including financial planning, budget, and control to obtain the highest service advantage with a minimum cost impact.
  • Perform data analysis and prepare decision support reports for top management.
  • Assist in financial reporting and analysis.
  • Payments & Accounting:
  • Prepare various vouchers (sales Invoice, adjustment, and journal vouchers) in ERP software.
  • Ensure proper accounting and records of all business transaction Voucher through accounting software.
  • Checking payments of vendors & others.
  • Materials Receiving Entry (Purchase Voucher) check and edit in Books of Accounts on due time.
  • Supplier`s and Customer's ledger reconciliation.
  • Budgeting & Financial Planning:
  • Lead the creation and coordination of the mission's annual financial budget in alignment with the operational plan.
  • Regularly update and monitor the budget, analyzing variances and recommending corrective actions.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial statements and year end closing and different kinds of financial report.
  • Analyze and interpret variances (Budget vs. Actual) on monthly basis.
  • Identify areas of inefficiency, areas of potential cost reduction and take necessary initiatives to improve.
  • Treasury & Cash Flow Management:
  • Manage treasury operations, ensuring smooth cash flow and adequate liquidity for operations.
  • Maintaining bank reconciliation on daily basis.
  • Manage payments to suppliers, Vendors, and staff salaries in line with company's policies.
  • Vat, Taxation & Legal Compliance:
  • Preparation of all sort of supporting regarding Tax& VAT Assessment purpose.
  • Always keep update & Communicate with VAT & TAX authority.
  • Any other VAT & Tax related task assigned by the management time to time.
  • Ensure Deduction and Deposit of VDS & TDS as per terms and condition.

Educational Requirements

  • Master of Commerce (MCom) in Accounting

Experience Requirements

  • At least 8 year(s)
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
  • Manufacturing (Light Engineering and Heavy Industry),Group of Companies,Importer

Additional Requirements

  • Minimum
    8-10 years
    of experience in Finance, Accounting, and Sales Administration roles, with at least
    3 years
    in a managerial position.
  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations and tax laws.
  • Analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in
    MS Excel
    and financial modeling.
  • Problem-solving ability to address financial discrepancies and risks.
