Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Engineer, located in Chattogram. The Engineer will oversee the maintenance, repair, and optimization of equipment and facilities related to fishing operations. Responsibilities include troubleshooting mechanical systems, coordinating with the marine workshop and shipyard teams, ensuring compliance with technical standards, and enhancing operational efficiency in the trawling, processing, and preservation processes.

Qualifications

  • Expertise in Mechanical Engineering, Maintenance, and Equipment Troubleshooting
  • Experience in Marine Systems, Facility Management, and Cold Storage Technologies
  • Proficient in Project Coordination and Technical Problem Solving
  • Strong understanding of Sustainability Practices and Process Optimization
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering, or a related field
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and adapt to dynamic work environments
  • Experience in the seafood or export industries is a plus
