Head of Marketing (Knit Garment)

Key Points

The Head of Marketing will be responsible for developing new buyers (Knit Garment) and expanding the company`s business portfolio in the international market.

Job Description / Responsibility

• Identify and develop new international buyers to increase export.(knit Garment)
• Build and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing buyers.
• Understand market trends, customer requirements, and upcoming product demands.
• Coordinate with internal merchandising, production, and design teams to ensure buyer satisfaction.
• Prepare and present marketing strategies, business proposals, and costings to management.
• Attend international trade fairs, exhibitions, and buyer meetings as required.
• Negotiate order terms, pricing, and timelines with buyers.
• Ensure smooth communication and follow-up with buyers from sampling to shipment.
• Develop annual business growth plans and achieve assigned targets.
• Monitor competitor activity and identify new market opportunities.

Educational Requirements

• Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Marketing
• Skills Required: International/ Export Marketing, Buyer Handling, Knitwear Merchandising, Garments Industry, Merchandising and Marketing, Buyer Sourcing, buyer management, Knit garments

Experience Requirements

• At least 12 year(s)
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Garments

Additional Requirements

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Marketing, Textile Engineering, or Business Administration from a reputed university.
• Proven track record in developing new buyers and securing export orders.
• Strong knowledge of knit garments and international market trends.
• Excellent communication in and negotiation skills in English.
• Strong buyer networking and market development ability.
