Role Overview

As a
Business Development Intern
, you'll support the strategic growth of Wetopia by helping identify opportunities, build partnerships, and shape our go-to-market approach. This is a unique chance to work closely with the founders and contribute directly to a movement that redefines business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct research on potential partners, markets, and impact sectors
  • Outreach to ethical brands, social businesses, local manufacturers, and mission-aligned influencers
  • Visit and conduct video interviews of local manufacturers
  • Help develop pitch decks, proposals, and growth strategies
  • Support founder with fundraising, partnership calls, and community-building efforts
  • Track leads, maintain CRM data, and assist in building the growth pipeline

Ideal Candidate

  • Passionate about equity, sustainability, and systems change
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated, curious, and collaborative
  • Comfortable with research, outreach, storytelling, conducting video interviews and traveling
  • Previous experience in business development, startups, or social impact is a plus
