Job Description / Responsibility

Duties and Responsibilities: Executive- VAT & Tax

  • Prepare and submit monthly VAT returns (e.g., Mushak 9.1) accurately and on time.
  • Reconcile VAT returns with accounting records to ensure consistency and compliance.
  • Ensure timely deduction and deposit of Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) and VAT Deducted at Source (VDS) as per National Board of Revenue (NBR) rules.
  • Issue and collect Mushak 6.6 certificates for VDS deductions.
  • File corporate tax returns and ensure compliance with the Income Tax Act and VAT laws.
  • Operate and maintain Tally & VAT software to ensure compliance with VAT rules.
  • Assist in internal and external audits by providing accurate financial data and supporting documents.
  • Maintain books of accounts as per the VAT Act and Income Tax rules.
  • Preserve all supporting documents for VAT, TDS, and VDS transactions in an organized manner.
  • Verify supplier bills to ensure TDS and VDS compliance.
  • Prepare and submit price declarations (e.g., Mushak 4.3) as required by VAT laws.
  • Ensure all VAT-related registers and records are updated and compliant with regulations.
  • Prepare and submit VAT, VDS, and TDS treasury challans for timely payments to government authorities.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by management, such as preparing feasibility reports or handling special projects.
  • Duties and Responsibilities: Executive- Accounts
  • All kinds of Journal voucher, cash payment voucher, MRR posting to Tally software.
  • Product costing of local purchases. Prepare monthly Bank reconciliation, statement & cash flow statement.
  • Daily sales invoice checking and monitoring of Sales Software. Reconciliation of physical stock with sales software & Tally software.
  • To check head office & factory petty cash Prepare monthly Stock Report, sales report & sales Incentive Report
  • To check sales replacement of all Branches/Showroom Responsible for documentation and safety of financial documents of Accounts.
  • Maintain sub-system and/or subsidiary ledger functions and perform reconciliations with general ledger accounts Carry out inventory audit from time to time.
  • Any other task assign by management.

Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Accounting
  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance
  • Skills Required: Accounts and Finance, Tally Software, VAT and Tax

Experience Requirements

  • At least 3 year(s)
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
  • Retail Store,Garments,Group of Companies,Super store,E-commerce

Additional Requirements

  • Accounting expertise: Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Tax knowledge: In-depth knowledge of VAT regulations and tax laws.
  • Analytical skills: Ability to analyze complex transactions and identify potential VAT implications.
  • Attention to detail: High level of accuracy in calculations and data entry.
  • Communication skills: Effectively communicate VAT-related information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Software proficiency: Must have experience in Tally and familiarity with accounting and tax software used for VAT calculations and reporting.
