We're looking for a Full-Stack JavaScript/TypeScript Engineer with hands-on experience in Fintech and blockchain integration (XRPL) to join our growing team.

Core Technical Skills

Full-Stack JavaScript/TypeScript Proficiency:

  • Backend (Priority): Deep experience with and a framework like NestJS or This is for building robust, scalable APIs that handle payments and integrations.
  • Frontend: Strong skills in a cross-platform framework like Flutter (preferred) or React Native. This ensures a single codebase for both iOS and Android apps, speeding up development.
  • TypeScript: Essential for catching errors early and maintaining a large codebase.

Blockchain & XRPL Specific Expertise:

  • XRPL Protocol: Direct experience with the XRPL (XRP Ledger) is a massive plus. Look for familiarity with:
  • The fundamental JavaScript library for interacting with the XRPL.
  • Key concepts: Transactions, wallets, payments, escrows, and tokenization.
  • Web3 Integration: Experience with wallet integration (e.g., Xumm) and understanding of crypto transaction lifecycle (signing, submitting, verifying).

Database & Cloud Infrastructure:

  • Database: Experience with both SQL (e.g., PostgreSQL for transactional data) and NoSQL (e.g., Redis for caching sessions/rates).
  • Cloud (AWS Preferred): Proven ability to build and deploy on AWS services (EC2, Lambda, RDS, S3). Knowledge of containerization (Docker) is a must.

Key Qualifications

  • Proven Fintech/RegTech Experience: The ideal candidate has 3-5 years of experience building financial, payment, or regulatory technology products. They understand the stakes: security, compliance, and absolute accuracy.
  • API Integration Mastery: A track record of successfully integrating with third-party APIs (e.g., banking gateways, merchant platforms, KYC providers). This will be crucial for connecting with Tabby, Noon, etc.
  • Security-First Mindset: Must be obsessive about security best practices: data encryption, secure API design, vulnerability management, and secret management. Experience with PCI DSS compliance is a huge advantage.
  • MVP Builder: Look for someone who thrives in a startup environment—able to make smart trade-offs, build quickly, and iterate based on user feedback without compromising core stability.

  • Problem-Solver, Not Just a Coder: You need a developer who understands the business problem behind the code and can propose innovative technical solutions.
  • Clear Communicator: They must be able to explain complex technical concepts to you (a UX designer) and justify their architectural decisions.
