We are currently seeking an ambitious individual to join this team in the role of
Senior Relationship Manager, Infrastructure and Public Sector, Corporate & Institutional Banking
.

In This Role, You Will

  • Market for various deals for existing and new clients for syndication, Equity Capital Market (ECM), Export Credit Agency (ECA), Advisory, Merger & Acquisition and Debt Capital Market (DCM) deals
  • Penetrating new relationship in the Public Sector front
  • Create market awareness and acceptability in structured finance products
  • Deal with various internal approval processes with different teams including regional Credit etc.
  • Maximise revenue and Return on Risk Weighted Assets (RoRWA) by spotting opportunities and timely execution better than competition
  • Collaborate with local Relationship Managers, customers, Global Business product teams, risk, regulators (Govt approval authorities, Bangladesh Bank, Bangladesh Investment Develepment Authority, Bangladesh Economic Zones Authority etc.), and other external / internal stakeholders to deliver Annual Operating Plan targets
  • Share best practice and knowledge with other Relationship Managers in the team
  • Work with Senior Manager Corporate Finance to implement strategies
  • Maintain HSBC internal control standards, implement and observe Group Compliance Policy and maintain awareness of operational risk and minimize the likelihood of it occurring
  • Maintain and ensure due observance of HSBC Internal Control Standards, including the timely implementation of recommendations made by internal/ external auditors and external regulators.
  • Ensure awareness of compliance requirements and implementation of Group Compliance Policy.
  • Maintain awareness of operational risk including its identification, assessment, mitigation and control, loss identification and reporting.

Experience, Skills, And Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree preferably from a public/private university
  • Significant relevant banking experience
  • Proven ability in financial and analytical reasoning, including ability to contextualize financial data into business activities and conclusions
  • Excellent relationship management skill with a focus on financial and budget requirements
  • Sound knowledge of structured financing products, commercial Banking, treasury, regulations and exposure to corporate banking industry is required.
