About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager – Bangladesh to support student recruitment and market development activities in Bangladesh. Working closely with the Sales and Recruitment Manager – South Asia and the marketing team, this role will be responsible for identifying and executing business development and international marketing strategies for the Bangladesh market.

The position plays a key role in developing and managing a high-quality education agent network while ensuring recruitment activities align with Australian Government regulations, visa integrity requirements, and Streamlined Visa Processing (SVP) guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement student recruitment and business development strategies to achieve enrolment targets
  • Build, manage, and strengthen relationships with education agents and key partners across Bangladesh
  • Manage agent contracts and commercial arrangements in line with approved budgets and growth objectives
  • Monitor recruitment performance and report against agreed KPIs and forecasts
  • Ensure consistent implementation of SHEA policies, brand messaging, and recruitment strategies
  • Conduct market research and contribute to the development of effective recruitment initiatives for Bangladesh
  • Share market insights through training sessions, webinars, briefings, and reports
  • Represent SHEA at education fairs, agent events, meetings, and promotional activities as required
  • Manage consultancy-related expenditure responsibly and report variances when required
  • Undertake other duties consistent with the scope and objectives of the role

About You

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Business, Marketing, or a related field
  • Proven experience in international student recruitment, education sales, or agent management
  • Strong understanding of the Bangladesh education market and student recruitment lifecycle
  • Sound knowledge of the Australian higher education system and international student visa requirements
  • Strong sales, negotiation, and relationship-management skills
  • Experience delivering recruitment campaigns, agent promotions, and student outreach initiatives
