Job Description / Responsibility

We are looking for a highly skilled
Senior DevOps Engineer
with strong expertise in
AWS, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure Automation
to join our engineering team. You will play a critical role in designing, deploying, and operating large-scale, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure.

This position is ideal for someone with deep hands-on experience in cloud platforms—particularly AWS—and who is passionate about automation, DevOps culture, microservices, and modern infrastructure practices. You will collaborate closely with software engineering teams to improve release pipelines, optimize architecture, enhance reliability, and ensure operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Cloud Infrastructure Design & Management

• Architect, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and fault-tolerant cloud infrastructure on AWS.
• Handle core AWS components including EC2, VPC, IAM, EKS, ALB/ELB, CloudWatch, Route 53, Lambda, S3, and RDS.
• Design and optimize AWS networking (subnets, NAT gateways, route tables, security groups, NACLs, peering).

Kubernetes Operations

• Deploy, manage, and optimize Kubernetes clusters (preferably on Amazon EKS).
• Manage pods, deployments, services, ingress controllers, secrets, config maps, and RBAC.
• Implement autoscaling strategies (HPA, Cluster Autoscaler).
• Work with Helm charts, Operators, and GitOps frameworks (ArgoCD/Flux).

Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

• Provision and maintain cloud infrastructure using Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.
• Maintain infrastructure versioning using Git (GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket).
• Ensure automated, repeatable, and consistent environment deployments.

CI/CD Pipeline Development

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for microservices using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline.
• Implement automated build, test, and deployment workflows.

Containerization & Image Management

• Work extensively with Docker, container image optimization, and image security.
• Manage container registries such as ECR or Docker Hub.

Monitoring, Logging & Observability

• Implement and maintain monitoring systems using Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, and EFK/ELK stack.
• Ensure proper logging, metrics collection, alerting, and distributed tracing.

Security & Compliance

• Apply AWS security best practices, IAM policy governance, encryption (KMS), and secrets management.
• Conduct vulnerability scanning for containers and infrastructure components.
• Implement network hardening and secure configurations.

Scripting & Automation

• Develop automation tools in Bash, Python, or Go.
• Create scripts to reduce manual intervention and improve operational efficiency.

Reliability & Collaboration

• Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Participate in on-call rotations and incident management.
• Work closely with development, QA, and architecture teams to improve system design and release processes.
• Drive continuous improvement across infrastructure, deployments, and security.

Educational Requirements

• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science & Engineering

Experience Requirements

• 5 to 8 year(s)
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
• Banks,Software Company,ISP,Technical Infrastructure

Additional Requirements

• Qualifications & Experience
• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS and Kubernetes in production environments.
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture, CI/CD, IaC, and GitOps.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in fast-paced environments.
