Job Objective
The incumbent is expected to identify new business opportunities, expand the company's customer base, generate revenue through new business opportunities, ensure profitable transactions/contribution margins for new business in Pharma & Nutra.

• Maximize the primary market intelligence/trend for new accounts in Pharma & Nutra.
• Maximizing sales through channel partner and key account management.
Responsibilities
Strategic and planning
• Develop business development strategies to drive sales growth in the assigned area/zone for existing & new accounts in Pharma and Nutra
Functional
• Market/Customer analysis, prioritization, & strategizing USPs to build differentiators.
• Customer relationship management (across customer organization & levels)
• Closing sales/negotiating deals
• Providing timely information about products & services
• Identifying new business opportunities (new prospects)
• Growing the company's customer base
• Generating new leads
• Conducting market research
• Acts as an internal champion for new customers
• Identifying new market segments
• Finding ways to expand company's reach
• Collaborating with complementors to spot new business opportunities
• Proactively and persistently pursue qualification of prospective leads
• Identifying opportunities for cross selling and up-selling
• Anticipating and overcoming initial qualification challenges or roadblocks if any
• Implicit need identification
• Proactively devise a market penetration strategy basis competitor analysis
• Value selling
Any other additional responsibility could be assigned to the role holder from time to time as a standalone project or regular work. The same would be suitably represented in the primary responsibilities and agreed between the incumbent, reporting officer and HR.

Requirements
- Education: Bachelors in Pharmacy or any other relevant field
- Experience: 3-4 years of experience in B2B sales and/ or business development selling to Pharma and related companies
- Must have handled B2B business selling excipients and/ or APIs to Pharma companies for 2-3 years at least
- Good analytical, communication and customer management skill
- Understands market and customer potential mapping, budget setting for customers and also ability to plan for achievement of the budgets
