Specific Responsibilities Would Include
Overall Responsibilities
Through various inspection activities to ensure the consistent production quality, enough order quantity and on time delivery.

• Quality Assurance & Inspection
• Perform Line review Meeting ,PPM, Inline, mid-line, Pré-final and Final inspections of sweater production to ensure conformity with Centric Brands' quality standards.
• Monitor knitting processes to verify yarn count, gauge, density, tension, and shrinkage controls.
• Validate measurement, workmanship, and finishing quality against approved samples and buyer specifications.
• Inspect trims, labels, hangtags, polybags, and cartons for compliance with packaging standards.
• Verify carton loading methods, stacking, and shipping marks meet Centric requirements.
• Check color consistency across production lots using approved lab dips and shade bands.
• Ensure defect categorization (critical, major, minor) follows AQL levels.
• Witness and approve pre-production (PP) samples, TOP (Top of Production) samples, and pilot runs.
• Factory & Vendor Coordination
• Work with factory QA/QC teams to ensure standard operating procedures (SOPs) are properly implemented.
• Provide on-floor guidance during knitting, linking, washing, and finishing to avoid recurring defects.
• Support vendors in risk assessments before bulk production begins.
• Collaborate with factories for root cause analysis (RCA) and ensure corrective action plans (CAPs) are implemented.
• Align with Centric's Production Planning & Sourcing teams to minimize delays due to quality holds.
• Process Control & Compliance
• Monitor compliance with Centric Brands' QA manual and safety standards.
• Conduct line audits at critical stages: yarn receipt, knitting, linking, finishing, washing, packing.
• Ensure testing requirements (colorfastness, dimensional stability, seam strength, pilling, etc.) are met by certified labs.
• Track repeat issues across factories and implement preventive action plans.
• Support onboarding of new vendors/factories, conducting initial quality capability assessments.
• Reporting & Documentation
• Prepare detailed daily inspection reports with photos, measurement charts, and findings.
• Maintain a quality database of inspections, CAPs, and factory performance scorecards.
• Issue inspection reports on time and highlight red-flag issues for immediate escalation.
• Share weekly and monthly QA summaries with management, identifying trends and recurring risks.
• Track shipment approvals and holds, ensuring no consignment is released without QA clearance.
• Training & Continuous Improvement
• Conduct training sessions for factory QA teams on AQL, inspection techniques, and Centric standards.
• Mentor vendors on best practices for sweater manufacturing (yarn handling, washing, linking, finishing).
• Identify process gaps and recommend lean manufacturing practices to improve efficiency.
• Assist factories in developing self-inspection systems to reduce reliance on buyer QA.
• Encourage continuous improvement of culture across production units.

Our Best Fit Candidate Would Have
Additional Requirements

• 5-7 years' working experience in QA/QC field (Factory and Reputed Uk Based Buying House)
• Know the inspection process (AQL standard) and requirement very well.
• Good knowledge of all kinds of handbag, including construction, fabrication, trim & hardware, print techniques, and safety requirement.
• Good knowledge of handbag manufacturing process in factory.
• Good knowledge of handbag quality control systems in factory.
• Bachelor's degree holder or Tech college diploma.
• Good in written English to understand the documents in English and issue report.
• Basic computer skills and handle Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook easily.
