Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Dhaka for an Oracle Database Administrator (DBA). The Oracle DBA will be responsible for overseeing the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Oracle database systems. Day-to-day tasks include database administration, replication, troubleshooting, and ensuring database security. The role requires handling performance tuning, backup and recovery operations, and providing support for Oracle database environments to ensure system availability and reliability.

Qualifications

  • Experience in Oracle Database Administration and general Database Administration
  • Skills in Replication and Troubleshooting
  • Knowledge of Database Security protocols and best practices
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • Certification in Oracle Database Administration is a plus
  • Experience in the banking, telecommunications, or government sectors is advantageous.
