Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing and maintaining backend services and APIs using Python with
    Django or FastAPI
    frameworks.
  • Support the design and implementation of RESTful APIs for OTA platforms, LMS systems, and travel portals.
  • Write and optimize queries for relational databases such as PostgreSQL and MySQL, and work with ORMs efficiently.
  • Implement basic authentication and authorization using Django's built-in system, JWT, or OAuth2.
  • Collaborate with frontend developers and UI/UX designers for seamless integration.
  • Write unit tests and participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Troubleshoot and fix issues in development and production environments.
  • Learn and adopt emerging backend technologies and best practices.

Educational Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
  • Equivalent practical experience and a small project portfolio will also be considered.

Requirements (Technical Skills)

  1. 1 year of backend development experience with Python and Django or FastAPI.
  2. Strong programming concepts; competitive programming experience preferred.
  3. Hands-on experience with
    raw SQL
    and
    ORMs
    .
  4. Familiarity with
    Docker
    and
    CI/CD basics
    .
  5. Proficient in
    Git and GitHub
    for version control.
  6. Strong
    problem-solving skills
    without relying on AI tools.
  7. Comfortable with
    Linux commands and basic operations
    .
  8. Knowledge of building RESTful APIs using Django REST Framework or FastAPI.
  9. Basic understanding of authentication/authorization methods (JWT, OAuth2).
