Job Description / Responsibility

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced
Senior Technology Specialist – Microsoft Hybrid Cloud (Azure)
to lead the
architecture, design, implementation, and operational support
of enterprise-scale
Azure and hybrid cloud platforms
. This role requires deep technical expertise, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work across
complex, mission-critical, and regulated environments
.

The successful candidate will act as a
technical authority
, supporting cloud transformation initiatives, mentoring engineers, and ensuring Azure environments are
secure, resilient, scalable, and cost-optimized
.

Key Responsibilities

Architecture, Design & Strategy

• Design end-to-end
  Microsoft Azure and hybrid cloud architectures
  aligned with business and security requirements
• Define
  cloud landing zones
  , subscription models, and governance frameworks
• Apply
  Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF)
  and
  Well-Architected Framework
  principles
• Create high-level and low-level architecture designs, diagrams, and standards

Implementation & Migration

• Lead implementation of
  Azure infrastructure and platform services
• Design and deploy
  Azure Virtual Machines, scale sets, availability zones, and PaaS services
• Architect and implement
  hybrid connectivity
  using Azure VPN Gateway and related services
• Lead
  workload migrations
  to Azure (re-host, re-platform, re-architect)

Azure Networking

• Architect and manage
  Azure networking
  including VNets, NSGs, UDRs, routing, and name resolution
• Design and implement
  Azure Load Balancer, Application Gateway, and traffic management solutions
• Troubleshoot complex Azure network and connectivity issues

Security, Governance & Compliance

• Design and enforce
  Azure security architecture
  and Zero Trust principles
• Implement
  Azure RBAC, Policies, tagging, and governance controls
• Lead security posture management using
  Microsoft Defender for Cloud
• Support audits, compliance, and regulatory requirements

Operations, Support & Optimization

• Provide
  L3/L4 operational support
  for production Azure and hybrid environments
• Perform advanced troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and permanent fixes
• Design and manage
  monitoring, logging, and alerting
  using Azure Monitor and Log Analytics
• Architect and validate
  backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity
  solutions
• Optimize
  performance, availability, and cost
  using Azure native tools

Automation, Standardization & Leadership

• Drive
  automation and Infrastructure-as-Code
  using ARM, Bicep, Terraform, PowerShell, and Azure CLI
• Establish operational standards, runbooks, and best practices
• Mentor junior and mid-level cloud engineers
• Act as a technical advisor for stakeholders, projects, and pre-sales engagements

Educational Requirements

• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science & Engineering
• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Information Technology
• AZ-104 (Azure Administrator)
• AZ-305 (Azure Solutions Architect Expert)
• AZ-500 (Azure Security Engineer)
• ITIL / TOGAF (Nice to have)

Experience Requirements

• 4 to 5 year(s)
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):

Additional Requirements

Core Azure Expertise

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and Hybrid Cloud environments.
• Strong expertise in Azure Compute, Storage, and Networking.
• Deep experience with Azure security, governance, and compliance.
• Advanced troubleshooting and operational support experience.
• Strong PowerShell and automation skills.

Architecture & Enterprise Experience

• Experience designing enterprise-scale, high-availability, and DR architectures.
• Proven experience leading complex cloud implementations and migrations.
• Strong understanding of cost optimization and FinOps practices
• Experience in regulated industries (Banking, Telco, Manufacturing – preferred)

Professional & Leadership Skills

• Strong technical leadership and mentoring abilities
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Proactive, analytical, and solution-oriented mindset
