is seeking a responsible and detail-oriented
Senior Executive – Accounts
for a reputed distributor company to handle day-to-day accounting and general finance functions.

Responsibilities

Accounts & Finance Operations

  • Maintain daily books of accounts including vouchers, journals, and ledgers
  • Record and verify sales, purchase, expense, and payment transactions
  • Prepare bank reconciliation statements (BRS) and cash reconciliation
  • Assist in monthly and year-end closing of accounts
  • Support preparation of financial statements and MIS reports
  • Ensure proper documentation and filing of all accounting records

Petty Cash Management

  • Maintain and control petty cash fund as per company policy
  • Record petty cash transactions accurately and timely
  • Verify bills, receipts, and approvals before disbursement
  • Prepare petty cash statements and reconcile balances regularly
  • Ensure petty cash limits and controls are strictly followed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in accounts & finance
  • Experience in manufacturing, trading, or distribution companies preferred
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
  • Sound understanding of basic VAT & tax concepts
