Job Description 

  • Set and drive the information and Cyber  Security vision and strategy, ensuring alignment with business priorities and delivering a customer-centric secure operational environment.

  • Develop and execute long-term security roadmaps, ensuring timely delivery of mission-critical projects within optimized CAPEX/OPEX budgets.

  • Lead enterprise-wide technology risk and threat management, establishing robust methodologies, policies, and mitigation frameworks to protect information assets.

  • Strengthen cybersecurity posture by identifying vulnerabilities across systems and driving cross-functional closure of threats with urgency and accountability.

  • Architect and oversee deployment of global-standard security frameworks, ensuring security requirements and best practices are embedded throughout the technology lifecycle.

  • Ensure rigorous compliance with internal and external frameworks (SOX, VSP, ITGC,NIST, etc.) through governance, audits, reporting, and continuous improvement.

  • Define and drive Enterprise Architecture strategy to enhance business–technology alignment, improve asset utilization, support change management, and reduce operational complexity.

  • Champion policy and process standardization, institutionalizing ITIL/eTOM/CMMi-aligned practices to build a high-maturity, process-driven technology organization.

  • Lead Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery strategy, ensuring resilience, rapid recovery, and service availability under crisis scenarios.

  • Develop strong leadership capability across the team, fostering a culture of accountability, learning, collaboration, and high performance.

Academic Qualification

  • BSc in Computer Sciences /Computer Engineering/ Telecommunications / Information Technology; Masters Preferred

Job Experience Required

  • 15+ years telecom/IT experience with 5+ years of relevant experience

Required Capabilities

  • Comprehensive understanding of IT IS Planning, Operations, Security architecture, IT auditing and IT general control.

  • Comprehensive knowledge in Vulnerability, threats, disaster and risk management.

  • Knowledge in enterprise architecture  Framework implementation.

  • In-depth knowledge on ITILV3,NIST, ISO20K & ISO27K. 

  • Sound knowledge of IT application, Network and IT Security systems & solutions.

  • Fundamental knowledge of Mobile Broradband Telecom network

  • Strong understanding of telecom business process

  • Strong knowledge of software development life cycle, experience of CMMi, ITIL implementation

  • Sound knowledge on business continuity management

  • Knowledge and experience with technology risk management
