Job Description / Responsibility

Job Context:

System Engineering Limited is one of the most reputable organizations in Bangladesh for various types of Industrial Automation works, Electro-Mechanical Engineering works, plant electrification and maintenance, Lighting Automation, Energy Management, Power Distribution, transmission, and machine customization, among others.

We are seeking suitably qualified high-performing professionals to join our Accounts Cum Commercial Department. Individuals will be responsible for the execution of the standard approach and leading Accounts teams during the fieldwork.

  • Maintain cash book, bank book, ledger, and various financial registers.
  • Prepare and verify vouchers and record (Sales, Purchase, Receipts, Payments & journal) entries by accounting standards.
  • Check & verify all transactions before entry in the ledger; check money receipt, bill, voucher, subcontract bill, daily expenses, etc.
  • Maintain petty cash & bank-related transactions (Cash withdrawal, Cheque deposit, RTGS, BEFTN, and others).
  • Prepare monthly bank reconciliation statements.
  • Check and verify all bills related to the Head Office, Factory, and Suppliers, ensuring compliance with financial policies and procedures.
  • Oversee and control the repair and maintenance of company vehicles, ensuring cost-effectiveness and operational efficiency.
  • Coordinate with internal departments and vendors.
  • Preparation of the financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, flow statement).
  • Ensure that all financial records are maintained according to company requirements, including bank receipts, disbursement, invoices, bank vouchers, bank statements, petty cash vouchers, and stock register.
  • Maintain receivables & payables properly with vendors/clients.
  • Prepare Daily/ weekly/ monthly reports with periodical analytical reports & submit to Management.
  • Perform any other tasks assigned by the management.

Educational Requirements

  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Accounting
  • Master of Commerce (MCom) in Accounting
  • CA (CC) completion is preferred.
  • Skills Required: Tax (VAT/ Customs Duty/ Income Tax), Accounts and Finance, Tally Software, Financial Reporting, Excellent communication and presentation skills, Budgeting and Forecasting, MS Excel

Experience Requirements

  • 3 to 5 year(s)
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
  • Manufacturing (Light Engineering and Heavy Industry),Trading or Export/Import,Engineering Firms,Indenting Firm,Industrial Machineries (Generator, Diesel Engine etc.)
