Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Special Education Teacher located in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
The Special Education Teacher will be responsible for creating and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with disabilities, instructing middle school students, and using effective teaching strategies.
The role includes working closely with parents, other educators, and specialists to ensure each student's needs are met. Daily tasks also include monitoring student progress, keeping detailed records, and maintaining a supportive, inclusive classroom environment.

Qualifications

  • Skills in working with students with Disabilities and
    Special Education needs
  • Teaching experience, particularly with Middle School students
  • Strong Communication skills to collaborate with parents, educators, and specialists
  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Special Education, or a related field
  • Ability to design and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Patience, empathy, and dedication to working with students of diverse backgrounds
  • Experience in an international school setting is a plus

N.B.: Candidates without prior experience working with special needs children will not be considered.
