Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Pattern Maker located in Dhaka. The Pattern Maker will be responsible for creating and developing patterns for various apparel items, ensuring proper fit and design. Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with designers to understand garment specifications, drafting and adjusting patterns, utilizing computer-aided design (CAD) software, and ensuring quality control during the pattern making process. The role also involves working closely with the sewing team to ensure the patterns translate accurately to the final garment.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Pattern Making and Pattern Design
  • Experience with Fitting and Sewing techniques
  • Skilled in using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with designers and sewing teams
  • Experience in the apparel or fashion industry is a plus
  • Formal training or certification in Fashion Design, Pattern Making, or related field is beneficial
