What You'll Build

You'll take the lead in developing the
frontend

of our design editor using
React + TypeScript

.

The app will allow users to:

  • Create and edit shapes, text, and images on a canvas
  • Move, resize, rotate, and style elements
  • Manage layers, groups, and components
  • Save and load projects (JSON format)
  • Export designs as PNG / SVG / PDF

Tech Stack

  • React + TypeScript + Vite
  • React-konva, or

(or SVG-based renderer) for the canvas
- API integration and data storage

Responsibilities

  • Build and optimize the
    canvas editor

(pan, zoom, draw, transform, select, style)
- Implement
layers, components, and style panels
- Develop
undo/redo

and version history system
- Handle
export/import

features (JSON, SVG, PNG)
- Ensure
smooth performance
- Collaborate on UI/UX improvements

Requirements

  • Strong experience in
    React + TypeScript
  • Hands-on with
    Canvas or SVG rendering

(Konva, , etc.)
- Good understanding of
state management

(Zustand, Redux, or similar)
- Knowledge of
data serialization, undo/redo, and versioning patterns
- Experience optimizing
rendering performance
- Basic familiarity with
APIs

Bonus Points

  • Experience with
    graphics or editor tools

(e.g., Figma, Webflow)
- Understanding of
vector graphics

and transformations
- Interest in
building creative tools or SaaS products
