About the Role

Canvas is looking for a creative and strategic Social Media Executive to lead our digital presence and storytelling across all platforms. As a heritage-inspired fashion and jewelry brand, your role will be to translate our values into impactful, engaging content and campaigns.

You'll collaborate closely with the design and marketing teams, work directly with the founder, and play a key part in shaping how Canvas speaks, looks, and grows online.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow Canvas's presence on Instagram, Facebook, and other relevant platforms
  • Plan and execute marketing campaigns and launches
  • Design engaging posts, reels, stories, and videos
  • Write captions and copy that align with brand tone
  • Create illustrations and visual content using Photoshop, Illustrator, or Canva
  • Track social media performance and prepare monthly analytics reports
  • Coordinate content calendars and collaborate with photographers and stylists
  • Stay updated with design trends, platform changes, and competitor strategies

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in social media management and graphic design
  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator (or equivalent design tools)
  • Strong storytelling, writing, and aesthetic sense
  • Ability to analyze insights and adapt strategies
  • Highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented
  • Bachelor's degree in Design, Marketing, Communication, or related field
  • Comfortable working in an on-site collaborative environment
  • Bonus: Video editing skills (Reels, CapCut, Adobe Premiere)
