Job Description / Responsibility

Prantic Unnayan Society (PRANTIC), Bangladesh established in 1998 is a national level non-profit organization working to improve the lives of the marginalized people across 15 Upazila under 8 districts in Bangladesh. Our programs focus on education, health, livelihoods, WASH, good governance, emergency response, and skills development.

"Enabling Marketing & Production Opportunities for Women's Economic Resilience"
(EMPOWER)
project aims to strengthen women's income generation by mechanizing sewing centres in Ukhiya and Camp-4, engaging
76 women (32 host + 44 Rohingya)
to produce and market apparel.

The
Project Focal
will lead the overall implementation of EMPOWER, ensuring effective management of production, marketing, quality assurance, and team coordination while strengthening women's social and economic empowerment. S/he must have the capacity to adopt a practical strategy to continue the project after donor funding with a very limited number of staff.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES of Project Focal:

  • Manage daily operations of sewing centres,
  • Supervise all project staff,
  • Oversee production planning, costing, pricing, and quality control,
  • Guide 76 beneficiaries in skills building and teamwork,
  • Ensure order management, delivery, and record-keeping,
  • Facilitate linkages with local markets and e-commerce platforms,
  • Maintain strong coordination with local leaders, camp authorities, and stakeholders,
  • Attend online weekly meeting to update progress;
  • Ensure monthly program and financial report

Others

  • Assist program colleagues whenever necessary.
  • Any other duties assigned by the supervisor. Willingness to reside in Ukhiya and travel regularly.

Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor of Business Studies (BBS)
  • Skills Required: Sales & Marketing, Project Management, Production, Fashion Design, Textiles & Garments Maintaining, Digital Marketing

Experience Requirements

  • At least 5 year(s)
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
  • NGO, Development Agency, Garments
