About the Role:
We are looking for a highly driven Business Development & Sales professional to expand our Textile Pigments business in Bangladesh. The role involves creating a strong distribution network, driving market penetration, developing key customer accounts, and achieving sales objectives across major textile manufacturing hubs.
Key Responsibilities
1. Market Expansion & Distribution Network
- Identify, appoint, and manage distributors/agents across Bangladesh.
- Develop a sustainable distribution model ensuring product availability and market reach.
- Evaluate distributor performance and implement business growth plans.
2. Sales & Business Development
- Drive sales of textile pigments, dyes, auxiliaries, and specialty chemical products in major textile zones.
- Generate new business opportunities through mill visits, brand interactions, and solution-based selling.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
3. Key Account Management
- Build strong relationships with textile dyeing houses, printing units, garment manufacturers, R&D labs, and buying offices.
- Conduct technical product presentations, application support, and solution-driven discussions.
- Manage pricing, negotiations, and customer satisfaction.
4. Technical Coordination
Work closely with application and R&D teams for:
product trials,
- customer complaints,
- on-site product validation,
- performance benchmarking.
5. Market Intelligence
- Track industry trends, competitor activities, customer demand, and market gaps.
- Provide strategic inputs for product positioning and new product introduction.
6. Reporting & Compliance
- Maintain sales forecasts, visit reports, customer databases, pipeline updates, and MIS.
- Ensure adherence to company guidelines, credit control policies, and distributor agreements.
Required Skills & Experience
- 8 to 15 years of experience in textile chemicals/pigments/dyes sales in Bangladesh.
- Strong B2B sales experience in textile chemicals industry.
- Proven ability to build distribution networks and expand market share.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and technical selling skills.
- Strong understanding of textile processing (dyeing, printing, wet processing).
- Experience working with high-performing sales teams and achieving consistent revenue growth.
- Ability to develop strategic sales plans and execute them independently.
- Good command over Bangla & English.
Education
- Bachelors degree in Textile Engineering (preferred) or
- Chemistry / Chemical Engineering / related technical degree.
