Junior/Assistant Auditor

Job Description / Responsibility

  • Examine and verify all types of bills and vouchers to ensure the accuracy of accounting records and compliance with established procedures.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits of all outlets and the warehouse.
  • Perform inventory analysis after audits by comparing stock-in and stock-out data of each store to identify discrepancies and irregularities.
  • Review and verify inter-company transaction registers and ledgers.
  • Perform pre-audit and post-audit of all accounting transactions, purchase requisitions, financial vouchers, and bills, including verification with system/software entries.
  • Review daily cash deposits and bank transactions to ensure proper recording and authorization.
  • Examine cash books, bank books, general ledgers, and various statutory and operational registers.
  • Support team objectives by contributing to related audit and finance tasks as required.
  • Conduct operational audits, investigations, process audits, and physical inventory counts.
  • Prepare accurate audit reports aligned with audit objectives for submission to top management.

Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)
  • Skills Required: Internal Audit, Audit, Inventory Management, Inventory Audit, Inventory Control, Accounts and audit, Stock Inventory, Inventory Analysis, Inventory Store Management, Cost and Inventory Management

  • 1 to 5 year(s)
