Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive SQA Engineer to join our growing technology team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring the quality, functionality, and reliability of our

software products. This role involves working closely with developers, product managers, and analysts to deliver a seamless user experience.

Key Responsibilities


•
Review and analyze requirements, specifications, and technical designs to provide actionable feedback.


•
Design, develop, and execute both manual and automated test cases.


•
Identify, document, and track bugs, ensuring proper regression testing after fixes.


•
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain quality throughout the SDLC.


•
Prepare and maintain structured test plans, test cases, and reports.


•
Conduct functional, non-functional, usability, and performance testing.


•
Actively participate in Agile/Scrum activities including sprint planning, standups, and reviews.


•
Adapt quickly to ongoing projects and ensure timely delivery of testing milestones.

Qualifications & Requirements


•
Education: BSc in Computer Science or related field.


•
Experience: Minimum 2 years in Software Quality Assurance.

Essential Skills & Competencies:


•
Strong understanding of testing methodologies, tools, and processes.


•
Hands-on experience in manual testing and test case design.


•
Familiarity with automated testing tools (Selenium, Cypress, Appium, etc.).


•
Experience with bug tracking tools (Jira, Trello).


•
Good knowledge of SQL and database testing concepts.


•
Clear understanding of functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing.


•
Knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).


•
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.


•
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.

Preferred Skills (Added Advantage):


•
Experience with API testing tools (Postman, REST Assured).


•
Familiarity with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner).


•
Experience in mobile application testing (iOS/Android).


•
Basic programming knowledge in Java or Python.


•
Awareness of security testing principles.

Certifications (Optional):

Relevant certifications in automation or QA tools will be an added advantage.
