WHAT YOU'LL DO

As a Quality Product Technologist, you are the guardian of H&M's brand quality standards, ensuring that every product meets customer expectations from development through to the final experience. You combine technical expertise with a customer-centric approach to deliver products that are safe, sustainable, and aligned with our global quality framework. This role will be key responsible for Kids, Womenswear, and Men Footwear, Bags and Belts in Bangladesh.

What is Production? It's the place where design ideas are transformed into actual products. We are in over 20 sourcing markets and are the direct point of contact for local suppliers. We work to ensure our products are of good quality and produced at the best price and in a sustainable way.

WHO YOU ARE​

We are looking for people to …​

• Ensure H&M's brand quality standards are met throughout the product lifecycle - from development to customer experience
• Implement the quality method & routines set by the Governance team
• Ensure the product fit, technical risk assessment, and consumption optimization in the sample stage from customer perspective
• Be responsible for Full Size Samples, Counter Sample Approval, Inspections, Supplier Capability Development
• Drive supplier to ensure the right quality delivered to our customers and secure business growth plan in the region with stakeholders together
• Conduct quality audits in Centralized Facility Services (CFS) to ensure alignment with standards

AND PEOPLE WHO HAVE

• Academic background in Leather Engineering/Produce Engineering/Footwear Engineering is preferrable
• Minimum 8 working years of experience in Footwear, including 3+ years for sample approval and commercialization
• Understanding properties of leather, synthetics, textiles, and adhesives used in shoe production
• Familiarity with stitching, lasting, molding, and finishing processes
• Ability to set, monitor, and enforce quality benchmarks and protocols in suppliers
• Knowledge of conducting product inspections, and production monitoring to ensure compliance
• Ability to identifying and resolving quality issues, defects, or process bottlenecks
• Ability to maintain accurate records of inspections, corrective actions, and supplier performance
• Sensitivity to market feedback with Data Analysis Ability for Quality Constant Improvement
• Problem solving skill, efficient and effective communications skills, project management Skill, result-driven, proactive, team player, learning agility
