Job Description / Responsibility

The Relationship Officer-Home Loan (Sales) is responsible for sourcing, acquiring, and closing home loan business in line with the Bank's policies, compliance standards, and assigned business targets. This role is purely sales-focused and plays a key role in expanding UCB's retail home loan portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Source and generate new home loan business through direct sales, referrals, real estate developers, brokers, and channel partners
  • Achieve assigned monthly and annual sales targets in terms of volume, number of files, and quality
  • Conduct customer profiling, need assessment, and product pitching in accordance with bank guidelines
  • Collect, verify, and submit complete and compliant documentation for credit processing
  • Coordinate with Credit, Operations, Legal, and Valuation teams to ensure smooth processing and timely disbursement
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with developers, builders, and referral partners
  • Ensure portfolio quality with a focus on low-risk and compliant sourcing
  • Maintain accurate records of leads, sales pipeline, approvals, and disbursements
  • Strictly adhere to Bangladesh Bank regulations, internal policies, and compliance requirements
  • Participate in sales campaigns, roadshows, and promotional activities as assigned

Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor/Honors

Experience Requirements

  • At least 2 year(s)
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Banks

Additional Requirements

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills
  • High level of integrity with sound understanding of compliance and documentation requirements
  • Target-driven, proactive, and customer-focused mindset
