Application Service Management DevOps Engineer (SEO-PO), ICT Division

Job Description / Responsibility

  • Design, implement, and maintain robust, scalable, and secure CI/CD pipelines for various applications, from code commit to production deployment.
  • Manage and optimize container orchestration platforms, primarily Kubernetes, ensuring high availability, performance, and scalability.
  • Implement and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet.
  • Monitor system performance, application health, and infrastructure metrics, setting up alerts and dashboards for proactive issue detection.
  • Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to identify and resolve issues, improve processes, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Implement and manage logging and monitoring solutions (e.g., ELK Stack, Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk).
  • Ensure security best practices are integrated into all stages of the DevOps lifecycle, including vulnerability scanning and access control.
  • Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in the DevOps landscape.

Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science & Engineering
  • Bachelor's degree in CSE / IT / ECE or equivalent from a recognized university
  • Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) certification is a must.

Additional Requirements

  • 4-7 Years professional experience
  • Extensive hands-on experience with Kubernetes administration, deployment, and troubleshooting.
  • Proficient in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Splunk).
