Junior Executive- Accounts

Job Description / Responsibility

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure proper accounting procedures across all retail outlets.
  • Oversee day-to-day accounting operations including ledger entries, journal postings, bank reconciliations, and expense tracking.
  • Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.
  • Reconcile physical stock with accounting records
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports
  • Reconcile bank statements and ledger entries
  • Perform data entry and maintain accurate financial records
  • Assist with accounts payable and receivable tasks
  • Support the month-end and year-end close processes
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations

Educational Requirements

  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Accounting
  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance
  • Skills Required: Manufacturing (FMCG), Group of Companies, Agro Based company

Experience Requirements

  • 1 to 2 year(s)
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Poultry, Fisheries, Farming, Hatchery, Salt, Dairy, Agro based Startup

Additional Requirements

  • Minimum 1 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing organization (Retail business experience preferred).
  • Strong working knowledge in dealer/distributor accounting, incentive adjustments, credit management, and receivables control.
  • Hands-on experience with accounting software (Tally Prime).
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively under pressure to meet deadlines.
