Role and Responsibilities:

As a Backend PHP Developer at Face of Art Technologies, you will work closely with our senior development team to contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of our web applications. This role provides an excellent opportunity for growth and learning, as you will have the chance to work on a variety of projects under the mentorship of experienced developers. Your responsibilities will include:


• Assisting in the development and implementation of web applications using PHP frameworks (e.g., Laravel, Symfony, CodeIgniter).


• Collaborating with senior developers to write clean, well-documented code that adheres to coding standards.


• Participating in code reviews to learn and improve coding practices.


• Troubleshooting and debugging issues in existing codebase.


• Learning and applying best practices in backend development and software engineering.


• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and project success.


• Deploy PHP apps on traditional hosts like Blue host, or on cloud platforms (VMs/PaaS/Containers), server less architectures, managed hosting like Heroku, or self-managed servers/VPS. Consider scalability, security, and automate deployment for efficiency.

Qualifications and Skills:


• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).


• 1 to 3 years of experience in PHP development.


• Basic understanding of PHP and PHP frameworks (e.g., Laravel, Symfony, CodeIgniter) is preferred.


• Familiarity with frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.


• Understanding of relational databases (e.g., MySQL) and SQL querying.


• Eagerness to learn and grow in a collaborative team environment.


• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.


• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
