We are seeking a
Deputy Manager, Programming
to oversee the end-to-end delivery of digital IT solutions and training programs that drive workforce transformation. In this role, you will ensure a user-centric solution, scalable, and aligned with business and learning objectives, while strengthening internal capacity through structured training and curriculum development. You will lead the design, implementation, and evaluation of programs to enhance organizational digital capability, improve learning outcomes, and support continuous professional development across teams.
Major Responsibilities:
- Gather and translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications to guide solution development.
- Break down projects into clear milestones, tasks, and deliverables with realistic timelines to ensure timely execution.
- Define and implement QA strategies, test plans, and acceptance criteria; oversee functional, regression, performance, and UAT testing.
- Manage defect tracking, validate fixes, approve release sign-offs, and ensure systems meet security, performance, and usability standards.
- Design, update, and maintain IT and digital skills curricula, creating training materials such as manuals, SOPs, videos, and assessments.
- Deliver hands-on training and customized IT learning programs tailored to trainers and learners.
- Communicate project status, risks, and updates effectively, supporting user adoption through documentation, training, and feedback.
- Plan and coordinate overall operational activities to achieve targets while ensuring proper communication with learners.
- Prepare quarterly and yearly performance reports based on targets and achievements.
- Establish and promote a safeguarding culture across the programme, providing guidance and support to team members to ensure a safe working environment.
- Ensure team members are trained, supported, and have access to necessary resources, in alignment with safeguarding policies and procedures.
Safeguarding Responsibilities:
- Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation, and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment, and exploitation, including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme's goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance, and expertise in safeguarding to establish a safe working environment
- Practices promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
- Follows the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, and encourages others to do so.
Additional Job Requirement:
- Strong knowledge of SDLC, Agile/Scrum/Kanban, QA processes, and learning design principles.
- Proven technical skills in requirements documentation, test case design, UAT coordination, and tools like Jira, Trello, TestRail, Confluence, etc.
- Excellent writing, editing, and narrative skills in English and Bangla, translating complex content into accessible, human-centered stories.
- Demonstrated coordination, stakeholder management, leadership, and team development skills across multiple programmes and partners.
- Proficiency in content creation tools (Canva, Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop), digital platforms, and understanding of donor reporting standards with a focus on BRAC health programmes.
Educational Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in CSE, Software Engineering, IT, or Information Systems, or a degree in any discipline with relevant professional IT experience.
Experience Requirements:
Minimum 2–3 years of experience in Product Management, Technical Project Management, Software Quality Assurance, IT Systems Implementation, or Technical Training and Curriculum Development in a reputed company or consultancy. Must have experience working with cross-functional teams. Exposure to enterprise portals or learning platforms is highly preferred, and experience in Agile/Scrum environments will be considered an advantage.
